Katy
I am a 2012 graduate of Northwest College in Wyoming with an AAS in Equine Riding and Training. In 2010 I graduated as a homeschooler from The Attic Learning Community in Woodinville, Washington. During my teen years I taught riding lessons and basic horsemanship to a number of homeschoolers and other kids. Sharing my knowledge, love, and respect for horses has always been my nature. So much so that I decided to make it my career. I look forward to working with kids and adults who have an interest in horses that they wish to explore, whether through equine art, riding, or basic horsemanship.
What others have to say:
Katy Cleveland 2010 Attic alum and a 2012 graduate of Northwest College of Wyoming with an AAS in Equestrian Riding and Training. Katy is a riding instructor extraordinaire, with six years experience teaching beginners. Katy started at the Attic the fall of 1999, the first year it opened in an Attic! Six years later as a 13 year old, Katy offered an Attic "LEAP" (Learning Experience Attic Project) and invited a group of younger Attic children out to her farm to learn about horses. The six children who participated loved it so much that they begged Katy to offer riding lessons. For Katy, this opportunity to share her passion for horses planted a seed that grew into her own part-time business which she maintained all the way through her high school years, and then led her to pursue a career in equine business. Now 20, Katy will be back in the area! Pat Orrell
